Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking an experienced Diesel Truck Technician to join their client's team in Moncure, North Carolina (Chatham County). This role involves working within a dynamic environment where safety, quality, and production are prioritized. The Diesel Truck Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel trucks, ensuring they are in optimal working condition. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of self and all team members while maintaining a reliable attendance record.
• Dedicate efforts to making quality products and actively participate in the appearance and upkeep of the facility and equipment.
• Contribute to the success of the organization and work as a team player with a positive attitude.
• Perform work as directed by plant management and be open to change and continuous improvement.
• Prioritize safety first, followed by quality and production.
• Handle general automotive and/or truck repair tasks.
• Provide own basic tools and maintain a clear driving record.
• Stand, stoop, bend, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs as required.
• Be self-motivated and team-oriented, working primarily in the truck shop with some outdoor work.
• Work Monday through Friday, from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Qualifications

• General automotive and/or truck repair experience is required.
• A clear driving record is necessary.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, stooping, bending, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Self-motivated and team-oriented with the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
• Willingness to work primarily in a truck shop environment, with some outdoor work required.
• A minimum of 3 years as a Diesel Truck Technician is REQUIRED

Required Work Hours

The position requires work from Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Additional Details

The salary for this position ranges from $25 to $26 per hour.
